We appreciated this hotel. A comfortable bed in our room. It was not far from Brighton Beach.
We liked Artist Residence Brighton from the moment we entered. The staff were friendly and the location was marvellous! Dine nearby at The Set, which is 400 m away.
The location was perfect at walking distance from shops, restaurants and beach. The room was big and clean.
Yes, breakfast was terrible. A paper back in front of your room with a juice, an apple and a croissant. No place to seat and no proper food. It would be better to say "no breakfast included".
Excellent location in the heart of Brighton. Very comfortable room, esp. the bed. Quiet at night. Very young and up beat decor.
Breakfast was a cold pastry, cereal bar, apple and juice left at your door. I was expecting cereal toast and coffee, as advertised!. Teabags in the room were disgusting!
The fact we had a great newly painted (by an artist) room, cute shower/toilet, nice staff, Jeffery especially as he helped with our luggage.
View from room 1 not great, could see Russell House (BUPA)
situated on a quiet place at the seafront; beautiful rooms - individually designed by different local and international artists; likeable and decent staff; breakfast "served" to rooms in paper bags
the breakfast is good(croissant is the best) ,and we are very late to check in they also very nice.because my room can see the sea view so i love it .
Friendly and helpful staff - they couldn't have done more to provide me with a gluten-free breakfast. The room was right at the top - quite a climb, but great views. It was a bit small - not much privacy from bathroom but decor was unique! Bed was fabulous. Location was perfect. I'd come back.
No phone in the room.
The breakfasts were good, although the new breakfast room will be better than eating in your room. It was only minutes from the conference centre and the staff were super friendly
I think that people with restricted mobility need to know that there isn't a lift. The stairs to the top take a little getting used to.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the way the rooms were individually decorated
Thought the cold breakfast could be either contain more items or be more specific to the individual staying as most mornings I ended up leaving items as I didnt like them.
Friendly, helpful staff, interesting designs on room walls, close to the beach.
I liked the quirky design of both the room and the hotel; we were well looked after and the room was large and clean. Staff were friendly and helped us out with finding the best places to go, giving us extra cups for the room etc. The breakfast in a bag concept is good as you can eat where and when you like.
i liked the concept of the hotel, our room was excellent.
the bed was not very comfortable - though initially interesting as a circular bed; however it had a join straight across my back
The staff are friendly and extremely helpful, the atmosphere is laid back and the decor is fantastic. The room was great, beautifully decorated and nicely furnished.
Our room was on the ground floor at the front of the hotel which was very noisy and not suitable to have children in.
